July 11 - You may have read the above headline, scrunched up your face in utter
confusion and uttered the word 'huh' but trust me when I tell you that it will all
make perfect sense, thanks to the generous folks at top South African casino, Suncoast Casino.
You, see on Monday of this week, (July 9th 2007) Suncoast Casino hosted the Duke of Edinburgh Regional semi-finals golf tournament at the Durban Country Club, with all of the proceeds going to a very worthy cause, in this case the Right to Live
Campaign.
While we are unsure of who the lucky winner of the tournament was , what we do
know is that he won himself one of five places at a 'golfing shootout' on August
14th at one of Johannesburg's most exclusive golf clubs, Pecanwood Country Club.
The winner of the Pecanwood Country Club golf tournament will have the honour of representing
South Africa against nine other international amateur golfers at the Duke of
Edinburgh Individual World Final at Windsor Castle in England later this year.
And here's where the headline should start to make sense. Not only will the
Suncoast Casino-sponsored player be lucky enough to play golf at the
highly-coveted Windsor Castle golf course, but afterwards will be able to enjoy
a cuppa tea (or champagne) with members of the royal family!
