this weekend.

Crusaders vs Hurricanes
The Hurricanes have not beaten the Saders at home in six years. They've had
them on the rack a couple of times but have not been able to shut the game out.
This is Robbie Deans' last hurrah before he heads to what the Kiwi's fondly
refer to as "West Island". This makes it hard to see how the Crusaders could
lose. But, and its a big but, they have been poor over the last three weekends
and what can it do to one's confidence to LOSE to the Highlanders at home? Can't
be good.
It's not hard to see that the game will be won and lost in the back rows.
Jerry Collins has had a very average season and will want to show that he is
still the best 6 in a black jersey. McCaw has had an average season by his
standards. The two number eights have been awesome, but So'oialo is not a
certain starter.
Verdict: Saders by 7+
Waratahs vs Sharks
They are talking up their chances in Sydney and seem to think the 25-10
drubbing of the Sharks three weeks ago has made this one a foregone conclusion.
They will do well to be reminded that this is a vastly different Sharks team.
The Sharks were playing with their reserve hooker and reserve locks in that
game. Michalak went off after 10 minutes and The Sharks had to rejig their back
line.
This Sharks team is a lot more settled. Our only concern is that Frans Steyn
is back at 12, replacing Barrett who has a blinder last week against the Chiefs.
This could be a masterstroke or a massive disaster.
The Sharks have lifted their game and are playing the more attacking style of
rugby and their best chance of winning is to run at the Tahs and take it wide.
This is a very settled looking Tahs team with few weaknesses but have they
really been put under any pressure? We don't think so and think to Sharks will
do just that.
Verdict: Sharks by a whiskerr. They'll break the Sydney hoodoo.
They have more playoff experience.
