October 14 - In a bid to keep ahead in a highly competitive industry, Sun
International has signed a lucrative new deal with Atronic Systems to provide
eleven of its casinos with access to the new CRYSTAL.net platform.
877 EGM's in these casinos will thus be able to provide access to the last
word in online gaming and multimedia LCD player tracking.
Atronic Systems' CRYSTAL.net has been designed to maximize revenues,
streamline casino operations and reduce maintenance downtime.
Sun International's choice of the new platform will allow Atronic Systems to
stay ahead in the South African market, retaining its current 68% market share.
"It's a great honor for Atronic that Sun International has decided to move to
CRYSTAL.net by following the trend of providing he best services to their
players," said Chief Operating Officer of Atronic International, Theirry Aiglon.
"This deal signifies a continued commitment to a trusted business relationship
that started in 1991."
"Combined with CRYSTAL.net, Sun International's existing chip cash cashless
solution becomes even more attractive and interactive, and introduces enhanced
player communication with a more personalized and compelling multi media
experience to the floor," he added.
Carnival City casino will be the first Sun International casino to benefit
from the new platform.
The Director of Gaming Development and Slots at Sun International, Des
Whitcher said: "Staying ahead in today's highly competitive gaming arena, Sun
International will install CRYSTAL.net. This new player tracking interface will
enhance the overall customer experience through stunning graphics, personalized
messaging and a variety of bonus concepts."
Some top Sun International resorts include Sun City and Wild Coast Sun.
