September 20 - Don't miss this summer's hottest party which gets under way at
Sun City later this month. The thrilling Vodacom Spring Break starts on
the 22nd
September and ends Sunday 30 September. Make a plan to be there!
5FM DJ's will be burning up the airwaves at the Valley of Waves at Sun City
and devotees can
meet and mingle with talent of the likes of DJ Fresh, Roger Goode, Ian F and
Sasha Martinengo.
The Valley of Waves will be jam-packed with all sorts of activities like jet
skiing, surfing, bikini competitions and beach bashes. As if that's not enough
there will be tubing, swimming, spine-tingling water-rides, beach volleyball,
Vodacom touch rugby and even a climbing wall.
Renowned Motorbike daredevil Brian
Capper will be doing some electrifying stunts in the Vodacom Extreme Riding
Exhibition. The Vodacom Ocean Experience is for those who have not been to, or
even seen the sea, and free lessons will be given on many wave-riding sports for
2 hours a day.
If you are still unimpressed with the fantastic list of activities to take part
in, how about some parasailing at Sun City's Waterworld, horse riding through
the magnificent Pilanesberg National Park or an exciting elephant ride.
Two local bands ? Chicks with Sticks and Gold Fish -- will perform on Saturday
the 29th from 5pm in the Valley of Waves. And the little ones aren't forgotten
as there is Kamp Kwena for kids also in the
Valley of Waves keeping the younger revelers busy with an abundant range of
activities.
The Spring Break tickets cost R130 per person and this includes admission to Sun
City and the Valley of Waves, a meal voucher, 50% off a Jet ski ride at
Waterworld and a discount on the ticket price for Let There Be Rock at the Sun
City Hotel. Tickets can be obtained at Computicket.
