November 28 - One of Durban's top gambling destinations,
Suncoast
Casino and Entertainment World, is showing its dedication to corporate
responsibility by going green from this month onwards.
The popular KwaZulu Natal land casino is making every effort to reclaim water
and recycle waste, and reduce the use of energy and do its bit for the
environment, as Durban acts as host city to the 17th Conference of Parties to
the United Nationals Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP17).
The conference will take place from today, November 28th until December 9th,
and Suncoast Casino wants to make sure that its own eco-friendly policies match
the message sent out by the organisers of this important event, so that it's
seen as South Africa's first green casino.
However, Suncoast Casino is committed to maintaining these green changes even
after the conference ends next month, and in this vain launched its multi
faceted Shine Green campaign which will encompass a host of 'green' initiatives.
Visitors to Suncoast Casino will be able to visit the SUNCafe from today
until January 17th next year, where they can enjoy eco-friendly leisure and
delicious refreshments, before hopping over to the casino floor to enjoy top
notch international-standard gambling entertainment.
Guests at Suncoast Casino's western entrance will be able to visit the SUNeco
Centre and explore other green initiatives, along with other features to ensure
Suncoast Casino goes green.
