January 30 - Kiron Interactive, a software company with its headquarters in Johannesburg, has launched a new product suite of virtual sports game and is showcasing them for the first time in London this week.
Kiron believed that the International Gaming Expo in London was the perfect venue to introduce the games to the industry, especially as the event is well attended by European and English gaming operators, casino managers and others.
The suite of virtual racing games could not have been developed at a more suitable time, where UK bookmakers estimate that 40% of their profits are generated by this type of gaming. All in all, the UK gambling market is worth an approximate 700 million GBP, and Kiron Interactive is hoping to grab a portion of the revenues.
"Virtual gaming has been our business since 2001,"" said the director of Kiron, Steven Spartinos. "We are thrilled to be launching our new betting products in time for the IGE exhibition with a number of international implementations being planned early in the current year. We look forward to showcasing the products at IGE to new clients."
Accessibility to the new games platform is highly flexible, allowing bookmakers to receive it through streaming or broadcast. Betting shops can also offer the suite using standalone machines or at a multi station.
Kiron Interactive, with its logo "As real as virtual gets", provides the South African and international gambling communities with interactive online skill games and virtual sports products for the traditional and online betting industries.
Kiron provides high quality games to a number of top companies in the world, including the Gaming Network, Ladbrokes and At the Races.
