December 8 - Regular visitors to Gauteng's most popular casino and entertainment complex, Montecasino, will be pleased to note that there is an excellent lineup of happenings over the festive season.
Montecasino has vowed to put the smile on every visitor's face, with non stop entertainment that includes a magical musical fountain display, concerts, carols and other musicals.
The Spectacular Musical Fountain displays will run every night, every half hour beginning at 19.30 and ending at 10.30 pm. Visitors will be bowled over by the beautiful symphonies played out against a background of synchronized water displays.
On Thursday December 11th, visitors can enjoy free entrance into the Montecasino outdoor piazza to enjoy the traditional annual Carols by Candlelight. This event, run regularly in association with Jacaranda 94.2 radio station, is a much awaited social and cultural happening and is sure to get anyone in the mood for Christmas. It will feature top singers, including Denim, Kurt Darren, Nianell and the Holy Jerusalem Choir.
Of course, no Christmas is complete without taking in a musical show, and Montecasino is hosting the fabulous Beauty and the Beast this season - one of the largest Broadway shows ever run, with stunning sets and costumes. This is a rare opportunity to enjoy true Christmas Broadway magic right at your own doorstep.
With its New Year's Eve line up, visitors will not want to be anywhere else but Montecasino to usher in 2009. The piazzas and restaurants will resound with excellent music as a build up to the New Year and Montecasino promises lots of food, drinks and fun on December 31st.
