It's make or break for the Bulls and Sharks this weekend. The Bulls will try
to avoid a typical local derby blowout, and the Sharks host a very difficult
Tahs side with a new backline that includes Brad Barrit at 12, hastily pulled
back from Saracens in the UK.
Elsewhere, the Crusaders are still in with a chance. They should beat the
Reds and if a couple of other results go their way, they will slip into the
playoffs.

Friday May 8 - Crusaders vs Reds
No use talking about it. Crusaders by a lot. They are starting to look
ominous and of they slip into the four they will worry the other contenders.
Match Odds at
Greatodds.com: Crusaders 1/22, Reds 12/1
Lions vs Highlanders
Fourie and Grobbelaar out. Again. Hard to call this one, they are both oh so
average. Lions edge home in a forgettable game.
Match Odds at
Greatodds.com: Lions 6/5, Highlanders 5/6
Saturday May 9 - Chiefs vs Hurricanes
This will be a cracker. The best outcome for SA teams is a game with no bonus
points, which is unlikely considering the attacking prowess of these teams.
Chiefs to edge home with their two wingers back.
Match Odds at
Greatodds.com: Chiefs 19/20, Canes 21/20
Brumbies vs Blues
The Brumbies are still in with a chance, but need a string of results to go
their way. The Blues defense has been terrible, and will continue to be.
Brumbies home advantage should see them win by 10.
Match Odds at
Greatodds.com: Brumbies 8/15, Blues 15/8
Sharks vs Waratahs
This game is all but a final. The loser is pretty much out of the running.
The Sharks will field a whole new backline combination. Expect a bruising
encounter. Sharks somehow to get our of jail, after struggling for most of the
match.
Match Odds at
Greatodds.com: Sharks 4/9, Waratahs 9/4
Bulls vs Force
The Aussie media are talking up the Force and just cannot accept that the
Bulls are the real deal. Bulls by 10+ in a typical tight Bulls grinding victory.
Match Odds at
Greatodds.com: Bulls 1/11, Force 17/2
Stormers vs Force
The Force think they are still a chance. Someone should break the bad news to
them. The Stormers are a disgrace to say the least. Force to win. Yes, a three
year old team from a non-rugby city in Australia to beat the team with a 100
year plus history.
Match Odds at
Greatodds.com: Stormers 11/8, Force 8/11
