June 18 - Cryptologic, the leading industry software provider, has stated
that it has signed a deal with the Irish firm, Betjacks to power the
company's new online gambling venture, Betjacks.com.
According to a press release, the new online casino site will target gambling
markets that are seen to have growing potential, including South Africa,
Ireland, Canada and the United Kingdom.
The President and CEO of Cryptologic, Brian Hadfield said: "Today's
announcement reflects Cryptologic's strategy to take our internet and casino
products to new people and new places. Cryptologic and Betjacks will work
together to develop an exciting new site that provides a superior entertainment
experience to players around the world."
Betjacks was created in 2006 by Brian Nesbit and Eamon Garland from
Communications. The company has since developed Ireland's first online betting
and gaming solutions platform.
"As we set out to launch our new internet gaming site, we wanted a trusted
and respected partner who shared our vision of integrity and innovation," said
the company's Managing Director Brian Nesbit. "Cryptologic's commitment to the
quality of the player experience - and its transparency and regulatory
leadership - are critical benefits as we take our brand online."
The deal was made through Cryptologic's successful subsidiary, Wagerlogic,
which is responsible for the licensing of the company's gaming software. "The
addition of Betjacks to our customer suite is another example of Waterlogic
executing upon its stated strategy to increase the distribution of our best in
class gaming products to the world's most innovative and leading operators,"
said Wagerlogic's Managing Director, Antony Demetriades.
