March 14 - Even though Wales is confident for a win against Italy in Rome on Saturday, they need to win by a considerable margin, in order to keep Ireland and France from snapping at their heels in today's Six Nations rugby betting action.
After Wales' last performance against France and despite the fact that Italy has lost their opening three games of the season, Wales needs to be vigilant. But a self-assured Wales full-back, Lee Byrne, is confident that Italy won't be celebrating in front of their home crowd.
Apart from the fact that a win over Scotland would leave Ireland just one win away from their first clean sweep since 1948, after Wales' loss to France, Ireland is the only team left that could win the tournament against Wales in Cardiff.
However, Scotland has renewed their team's self-confidence after their victory over Italy. But captain and scrumhalf, Mike Blair, is aware of the game ahead, and has admitted that his team needs to approach the game with cautious optimism and they will need to step things up in order to stay in the running for the trophy.
After England's perturbing collection of yellow cards over the last four matches, Captain Steve Borthwick has guaranteed their despondent fans that their disciplinary problems are history, and won't be an issue in their upcoming clash against France on Saturday.
Regardless of England's current track record, France's lock Jerome Thion, still feels that any game against England is the game of the championship, and is confident that his recharged team is ready for battle.
