March 9 - The Chiefs were in high spirits, as they kicked off the weekend's Super 14 rugby betting action against Western Force, taking their first win of the season with a 31-13 win in Hamilton.

The most talked about match of the weekend was between the Highlanders and the Crusaders in Dunedin. The Crusaders crept off the field with a devastating 6-0 loss to the Highlanders, making this their 3rd loss in a row, and producing the lowest collective score since Super Rugby's inception. The previous record was in 2007 in Brisbane, between the Brumbies and the Reds, producing a 6-3 win.
The Bulls and Stormers wrapped up the weekend with a match that was predicted to end with a wider margin of victory. The Stormers kept the Bulls on their toes, with the final whistle blowing on a 14-10 win to the Bulls, keeping them at the top of the log.
