 October 1 - Gautengers are in for a treat this month as the beautiful and
talented Greek singer, Anna Vissi, is scheduled for a one-off show on Saturday,
October 13th 2007, at Emperors Palace Casino and Resort in Johannesburg's East
Rand.
Known throughout Greece and Cyprus as the Greek 'pop queen', and a favourite
amongst Greeks the world over, Vissi has earned a massive fan base thanks to her
amazingly strong and clear voice as well as her bility to dance extremely well.
Vissi started singing at the age of six, when it soon became clear that
she had a natural talent well beyond her years. Originally from Cypress, her
parents relocated the family to Greece so that the 'Greek pop queen' could take her
talents to a new level.
And, after being 'discovered' by Greece's top music producers, Vissi hasn't
looked back. This will be the first time she performs in South Africa and fans
will have to fight for the limited seats to the Emperors Palace Casino show (and a dinner), which
range from R750 to R1000.
