May 25 - The non profit London based industry watchdog group, eCOGRA was pleased to provide Chartwell Technology with its Certified Software seal, it was announced this weekend.
Chartwell underwent rigorous testing in a bid to obtain this coveted certification and now joins other highly respected groups in the industry, including Gala Coral, Stan James and Victor Chandler.
Chartwell stopped at nothing to meet international industry standards set forth by eCOGRA and opened its doors to the group's inspectors at its Calgary, Canada site.
The group believes that achieving eCOGRA accreditation is just another step in its commitment to bring all its brands and services to international standards.
"This was a good test of our development, business and control systems," said the Vice President of Software Development at Chartwell, Clinton Begin, "and I believe we benefited from the full professional assessment and recommendations made by the eCOGRA compliance auditor on his inspection visit to our Calgary facility."

Also from eCOGRA, Compliance Manager Shaun McCallaghan had only praise for Chartwell's team who cooperated with the testing process from beginning to en.
"The Chartwell technical team was completely cooperative and well prepared," said McCallaghan, "with all documentation and systems ready for compliance testing."
