Overview
The Carousel Casino is a casino and entertainment complex in the North West
province of South Africa. It is 55 km north of Pretoria, along the N1 highway
on the way to Polokwane.
The Carousel is one of the oldest casinos in South
Africa, having opened in 1991, and is sometimes known as the
"home of the millionaire", having made over 100 millionaires out of
its players.
The Carousel theme pervades the resort, with marble prancing horses as its central
entrance motif. The casino has had a recent refurbishment and upgrade, with
all new machines featuring smart card technology.
As part of the Sun International
group it has a Most Valued Guests programme, with an MVG Desk, and MVG Lounge,
a smoking lounge and a Players' Cocktail Bar.

the Victorian themed Carousel Hotel.

Location
The Carousel is located on the N1 highway 55 km north of Pretoria. From Johannesburg,
take the N1 north to Pretoria and then the Polokwane split. Once you near the
casino complex, simply follow the sign posts.
