African Palace Casino has already awarded one lucky winner her prize worth R50,000 after she sent in her wish. "I have become involved in a halfway house for babies in Kuilsrivier," wrote Charmian R., "and they need to have a vast amount of renovations done, and my wish is to be able to make this happen for them."
Earlier this year, Charmian was awarded her check for Rock a Bye House in Kuilsrivier at a superb ceremony at the Madame Zingara's Theater of Dreams in Cape Town.
Charmian was thrilled with the presentation and said: "I just wanted to thank you all for the wonderful evening we had at Madame Zingara's. It was my first time there, and what an experience! Of course, my receiving the check for Rock a Bye House was the highlight of the evening, but we had lots of fun, the entertainment was fantastic and the food was absolutely delicious. Once again, thank you for everything. Once we have done the renovations at Rock a Bye House, I will send you some before and after photos."
