September 10 - Online gamblers in South Africa, as well as around the rest of
the world, are always looking for convenient ways to pay for their gambling fun,
especially through payment processors that have a good industry reputation.
Victor Chandler, the internationally recognized online gambling
operator that works out of Gibraltar, announced last week that it has signed an
agreement with UKash, the UK-based payment processor that has replaced many of
the former leading processors in the business.
The UKash system of payment is incredibly simple, allowing players to
purchase vouchers at a wide range of dealers across the world and entering their
voucher codes at online casinos in order to fund their accounts.
UKash is seen as the perfect solution for players who cannot or do not want
to provide their credit or debit card details over the internet. In the United
Kingdom alone, the number of people who fit into this category is 2.8 million
adults.
The Chief Executive Officer of UKash, Mark Chirnside said: "There will always
be a very substantial group of people who don't have or won't use their cards
online so it's important for companies like Victor Chandler to give the cash
customer a payment option. This is a perfect example of how UKash benefits the
online merchant and the cash customer."
The UKash facility has been launched in a number of countries around the
globe, including most regions in Europe, the United Kingdom and South Africa.
Naturally, customers are not limited to online gambling using UKash. They are
also able to use their unique 19 digit codes to purchase a wide range of goods
and products over the internet.
