May 11 - Round 12 of Super Rugby kicks off with the Blues hosting the Lions
to see who can play the worst rugby. The Bulls have a tough task ahead of them
in Sydney and The Stormers should go back to the top of the South African
conference with a win over the Cheetahs.

Friday 11 May: Blues (2/9) v Lions (7/2) - Auckland
The scrap at the bottom of the barrel. One has to go for the home team and
they are likely to cover the 9 point spread.
Margin Tip: Blues by 11-15 at 9/2. Take the line at -9 favouring
the Blues.
Prediction: Blues by ten or more
Friday, 11 May: Waratahs (19/20) v Bulls (19/20),
Sydney
The Bulls have a history of losing the plot in their second game on tour.
Their defense was horrible against the Rebels and the Waratahs will prove much
tougher opposition. They Sydney team will be desperate as their season is
hanging by a thin thread so we pick them to win in a typical low scoring affair
between these two teams.
Margin Tip: Tahs by 1-5 at 4/1
Prediction: Tahs by 3
Saturday, 12 May: Highlanders (4/6) v Hurricanes (7/5), Dunedin
A match that will no doubt produce some slick moves from two teams that like
to play. The Highlanders will be jetlagged after their SA trip and they suffered
more injuries. The young Hurricanes team has impressed with their daring
attitude. We back them for the upset.
Margin Tip: Canes by 6-10 at 6/1. They start as a 2 point underdog.
Prediction: Hurricanes by7
Saturday, 12 May: Rebels (15/2) v Crusaders (1/12), Melbourne
After a plucky display against the Bulls last week the Rebels confidence will
be sky high but the Crusaders will bring them crashing down to earth. Their
scrappy win over the Reds last week was one of their worst displays at home in a
long time and coach Tod Blackadder will have been wielding the whip this week.
Margin Tip: Crusaders by 15 at 9/2. They should cover the 13 point
line.
Prediction: Crusaders by 10+.
Saturday, 12 May: Sharks (1/8) v Force (6/1),
Durban
The Sharks played more to potential last weekend and will use this game to
improve further. They have to win with a bonus point to keep in touch with the
Bulls and Stormers.
Margin Tip: Sharks by 11-15 at 9/2. The line favours the Sharks by
5.5
points and is worth a bet.
Prediction: Sharks by 12
Saturday, 12 May: Stormers (1/7) v Cheetahs (6/1),
Cape Town
With Jean de Villiers back to lead the Stormers and the unfortunate loss of
Goosen for the season at the Cheetahs, this game can only have one result. The
Stormers know they must get the bonus point and they should.
Margin Tip: Stormers by 6-10 at 9/2.
Prediction: Stormers by 10
Sunday, 13 May: Reds (n/a) v Chiefs (n/a), Brisbane
This will be the match of the round with the resurgent Reds team back at home
against the table topping Chiefs. The Chiefs have threats all over the park and
should have just a little bit too much fire power for a Reds team that is
starting to look better but aren't back at full force.
Margin Tip: n/a
Prediction: Chiefs by less than 5
