Friday 30 March: Highlanders (0.3) v Rebels (1.65) - Invercargill

The Highlanders are given an eight point start by the bookies which seems fair, considering a plucky Rebels side. Once again the Clan's work at the breakdown will be the undoing of their visitors. With Adam Thomson back, the Clan are a different kilted animal.

Saturday, 31 March: Chiefs (.47) v Waratahs (1.9), Hamilton

The Waratahs were lucky to beat the Sharks last week and only triumphed because the Sharks looked spent after 60 minutes. This week they com up against a rested Chiefs side in chainsaw country. The Chiefs backline has the goods and their forward pack will not be messed with.

Saturday, 31 March: Brumbies (1.4) v Sharks (.67), Canberra

The Sharks will face a resurgent Brumbies team under Jake White in what will be a close encounter. This young brumbies team has show the ability to tough it out and the Sharks have not been convincing.

Saturday, 31 March: Force (1.1) v Reds (.82), Perth

The trip to SA was a disaster for the Reds who got smashed by the Bulls. They have had to dip into their reserves week after week and look to have struck the bottom of the barrel. The Force have played some good rugby.

The Lions are starting to look more like the Lions of old and just seem to lack that extra gear. The Crusaders travel well and will win easily.

Grown Afrikaner men in pink. If that is your thing then tune into this game which we tip to be one of the best of 2012. The young Bulls ran rampant last week but they are up against the resilient Stormers defense. North South classic. We love it.
