March 11 - The Bulls are back from their bye to play a depleted Highlanders
team who got hammered last week, the Stormers need to make a statement against
the Canes and the Sharks just need to bloody wake up. They can blame the ref all
they want, but the truth is they sucked. Can they pull it together?

Chiefs (+3) vs Crusaders (-3) - Hamilton - Friday
This has all the makings of a cracker. The Chiefs surely have to wake up
after getting upset by the Reds last week and they better lift their game. This
looks like a pretty boring Crusaders side compared to the past but they will be
organised as ever. Just too much class. Crusaders by 5.
Waratahs (-15) vs Lions (+15) - Sydney - Friday
It's hard not to hate the Waratahs. Their Captain can't stop talking crap to
the media, loves a dig at South African's, and got away withy murder at the
breakdown last week. The Tahs are horrible to watch. They have talented players
but look like they are more likely to bore the Lions to death than run them
ragged like their supporters wish they would. Waratahs by 7. No they won't cover
the spread.
Brumbies (-8) vs Sharks (+8) - Canberra - Saturday
Keep hoping. That's all I can say to Sharks supporters. There is so much
wrong with this team and it starts all the way at the top. I'd give anyone R500
for giving me five lines that concisely sum up the Sharks game plan. My money is
safe. It's a pity, but there's more hurt for the Durban faithful against the
Brumbies team that has class written all over it even though it has failed to
spark. Some sparks will see the Brumbies win by 12 and cover the spread.
Bulls (-22) vs Highlanders (+22) - Pretoria - Saturday
Snotklap. If the Bulls switch on they should hammer the Highlanders by a
cricket score. The Highlanders will come with a big forward effort by won't last
the distance. Bulls at a canter by 20 plus, not getting our of second gear.
Stormers (-5) vs Hurricanes (+5) - Cape Town - Saturday
Can the Stormers for once show consistency? This is is the clash of the two
teams who promise the most each year and have made a habit of disappointing
their fans. The Stormers needs to be 100% on top of their game against the
Hurricanes who will be hurting after their Bloem loss, but will feel much more
comfortable on Cape Town. The Stormers really have everything to lose. If they
don't win this one they are on the back foot before leaving on their tour.
Stormers will scrape home by 3.
Reds (+9) vs Force (-9) - Brisbane - Sunday
The Reds have actually been great to watch. In seasons gone by anyone would
have though they can't keep it up and would go down to the Force, who are in
total disarray. Not this Reds team. They have shown class and will win by ten or
more
Ryan's season record: 19/27 = 70%
