November 14 - Poker Media and Tsogo Sun Gaming are excited to invite poker
players from all over world to Montecasino to take part in the lucrative
2008 South African Poker Open.
There is $1 Million to be won during the Montecasino 2008 South African
Poker Open. This prestigious event which will be held from the 5th to the 10th
of February 2008 includes a R3 500 NL Hold'em Event, a R3 500 Omaha High Event
and the thrilling R25 000 South Africa Open.
The R3 500 NL Texas Hold'em 'Freezeout' is a two day event which starts at 12pm
on the 5th of February. The R3 500 NL Omaha High is a 2 day event and starts on
Wednesday the 6th at 12pm. The R1 500 'Last Chance' Super Satellite to SA Poker
Open 2008 is a 1 day event and starts at 12pm on Thursday the 7th and the R25
000 South African Poker Open 2008 is a 3 day event which will start at 12:30pm
on Friday the 8th.
The exceptional results by South African players playing poker internationally
have created huge international interest in South Africa as a poker destination.
This year alone an international group of over 250 players, including pokers
biggest names - both local and international - played poker at Montecasino.
Montecasino has also announced extra cash tables at the 2008 South African Poker
