It comes as no surprise that the The Indian Premier League (IPL) is a very big betting market and attracts recreational and serious gambler alike. The glitzy and start-studded Twenty20 cricket competition is in its
third year in 2010, with the reigning champions, the Deccan Chargers, lead by cricketing legend Adam Gilchrist and boasting players like VVS Laxman and
Chaminda Vaas in their ranks.
After being played in South Africa in 2009 due the the fact that India's ruling United Progressive Alliance (UPA) could not promise a secure tournament,
the tournament is back on Indian soil in 2010 and kicks off on 12 March in Mumbai when
the Decan Chargers take on the Kolkota Nightriders. The tournamnet runs until
April 19 with games almost taking place every day. There are a total of 60
matchers being played at 12 venues.
The semi-finals and finals take place between April the 21st and 25th. Teams play each other twice in a round robin system, with top four ranking sides will progress to the semi-finals.
Throughout the IPL tournament we will updated you with the latest betting odds, and IPL betting news.
